Praised for their “admirable technique and musicality” and “surprising tonal, timbral and emotional range,” Tuple Bassoon Duo takes audiences on a journey through fifty years of music for two bassoons with a repertoire spanning a melodic, timbral and stylistic range of surprising breadth.
Founded in 2006, Tuple has appeared at experimental art and music venues including The Stone (NYC), Eyedrum (Atlanta), Flood Fine Arts Center (Asheville), A|V (Rochester, NY), and have presented performances and masterclasses at Yale University, the University of Michigan, Northwestern University, University of Vermont, University of North Carolina School of the Arts, and the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
Their debut album Darker Things was released by Bright Shiny Things in August 2019.
